We will have the Hoopsister's Elegant Elements quilt in the shop this week for you to come see. Wonder what you can make with your embroidery machine? This is a great example!! On Friday July 29th we are hosting a Wine and Cheese evening from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and invite all interested in seeing this quilt and other examples of Hoopsister's projects to please stop in. For those of you that are working on the mystery quilt started in June bring what you have done to share with us all!!!
Beginning Piecing
August 11th and August 17th
5:30pm to 7pm
Join Marie for this 2 part classes. You will piece a quilt top called "Four by Four". This is a great quilt to use charm squares in or yardage. Check out the picture and more information here
Kaleidoscope How To
August 13th
9:30am to 1pm
Trudy will demonstrate how to make a 4, 6, and 8 repeat (sided) Kaleidoscope. You will make a 6 repeat (sided) kaleidoscope in class. You will need to find a pattern you want to make to figure your yardage. You also need to bring sewing supplies, sewing machine, fabric and 60 degree ruler to class.
Table Runner of the Month
August 20th
9:00am to 12pm
Every month we make a table runner. This month we will be using the Double Wedding Ring design. Kits are available for $38.00 which include all fabric for top, back, binding and batting. You will need to bring your sewing machine and sewing supplies to class. Pictures and more info here.
UFO Sew Night
August 20th
1:00pm to 10:00pm
Have a project you want to work on. Join us at the store, we have long tables, extra large iron boards and room to spread out plus help if you need it. Tables are limited and you will need to preregister for the class.
Edge to Edge Quilting with your Embroidery Machine
August 27th
10am to 3pm
Shari will show you how to use the Amelie Scott Designs to quilt your own quilts with an edge to edge design. More info here.
Landscape Thread Painting
September 30th or October 1st
Patty will lead you through making a landscape picture and then using decorative threads to add texture and quilting to the finished project. More info here.
Premier+ Ultra Boot Camp
October 8th, 9th and 10th
3 days of classes on this great software. You will go away with a great understanding of all you can do with Premier+ Ultra. Requirements to attend this class are.
